ABOUT Born in Los Angeles, Steven Krause has lived and worked in New York City for 17 years and currently splits his time between Brooklyn and the San Francisco Bay Area. He has shot world-wide advertising campaigns, editorial for international magazines and has recently completed his first book. His work spans a variety of subjects from cosmetics to interiors to farmers and cheese producers. Krause studied photography at The Art Center College of Design in Pasadena and his work has recently appeared in National Geographic Traveler, ELLE, Food & Wine, Sonoma Magazine, Marin Magazine and on Style.com and Vogue.com.

BROOKLYN STUDIO WEST Located in the historic DUMBO neighborhood on the Brooklyn Waterfront, Brooklyn Studio West is Krause and producer/stylist partner Lauren Benward’s state-of-the-art digital studio. The spacious private studio provides both streaming daylight and controlled studio lighting options, as well as in-house services including retouching and color correction. The team also operates a location in Northern California serving the San Francisco Bay Area, Sonoma and Napa Wine Country (WEST).

Plats du Jour - Journey Through the Seasons in Wine Country :: This is Krause's first published book of photography. The photos in the 300+ page full color coffee table book range from striking and graphic food stills to intriguing character portraits and dramatic landscapes. Release date: December 10th, 2011.
